REACH UI is a robust design system for a white-label health and wellbeing platform.

What started as a basic UI kit, slowly matured into a fully fledged design system that now includes reusable components for both web and mobile, accessible colours, typography styles, breakpoints for responsive web and over 50 bespoke icons. The goal was to maintain efficiency and visual consistency across all digital products.

Over the course of five years, I was solely responsible for building and maintaining our design system, keeping libraries up to date and organised alongside product growth.

Having a centralised design system helped to improve efficiency, consistency and the overall quality of our products. It led to a more streamlined design process, with more time to focus on solving specific problems, as opposed to how individual components look. This allowed us to iterate and ship updates faster, improving the overall time to market.
